W

Built in 2023 by German shipyard YYachts to their acclaimed Y8 model, sailing yacht W is a 24-metre performance sloop that sets a new benchmark for luxury sailing in the Western Mediterranean. With exterior lines by Luca Brenta & Co and interiors by British studio Design Unlimited, she is as visually striking as she is technically impressive — a yacht designed to be sailed hard and lived in beautifully.

Under sail, W’s performance speaks for itself: speeds of 9–12 knots or more, with twin 115hp engines for reliable passage-making in any conditions. Her lifting keel adds a further dimension to the charter experience, allowing W to access the shallow coves and hidden anchorages — spots that remain simply out of reach for most sailing yachts of her size. Whether tucked into a secret inlet or anchored steps from a beach, guests enjoy a level of access and privacy that few yachts can match.

W’s bespoke solar hardtop is one of her most distinctive features, combining elegant aesthetics with a genuine commitment to sustainability and onboard comfort. Below, her interior reflects a bold, contemporary sensibility: an open-plan saloon flooded with natural light through multiple skylights, sculpted soft furnishings, curated artwork and a professional galley that sets the tone for exceptional onboard dining.

She accommodates up to 8 guests overnight across 4 en-suite double cabins, each finished to a hotel-inspired standard with rain shower heads and warm ambient lighting. A dedicated crew of captain, deckhand and chef ensures every aspect of the charter is seamlessly managed — led on the culinary side by Chef George, who brings over 20 years of international experience, including more than a decade in Michelin-starred kitchens and award-winning luxury hotels. His refined, highly personalised approach means every menu on board is built around each guest’s tastes, dietary needs and the rhythm of the day, delivered with the calm, discreet precision that has made his dining experiences consistently memorable.

On deck, W is built around the sailing experience. Her spacious cockpit serves as the social heart of the yacht, with generous seating and a large convertible dining table — ideal for long lunches, sundowners or starlit dinners at anchor, where Chef George’s cuisine truly comes to life. Forward, wide bow areas invite guests to stretch out and take in the views of Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera and beyond.

For those who want more than sailing, W carries an impressive roster of water toys — Seabob, wakeboard, two SUPs, snorkelling gear, inflatable water toys and a Williams Jet Tender 395 for exploring the coastline at will.

W is based in Club de Mar (Palma de Mallorca) and available throughout the Balearics, France and Italy.
